A World of Wonder, One Story at a Time

About

I write stories about Santa Claus for children of all ages, stories that remind us kindness knows no borders, and that curiosity is the bridge between worlds.

Before I called myself a writer, I was an army officer, a financial planner, and a grandfather. Each chapter of my life taught me something different about leadership, responsibility, and love, lessons that now shape how I imagine the North Pole.

To me, Santa’s world isn’t just about toys and sleigh bells. It’s about the logistics of joy, the teamwork behind wonder, and the beauty of traditions that connect families across every culture.

A watercolor illustration of Santa Claus sitting at a wooden table, writing in a large book, wearing a red hat with white trim, glasses, and a red vest. The table has a striped mug, a plate of cookies, and a blue vase with a pink flower. Behind Santa is a bookshelf decorated with holiday ornaments, a snow globe, and framed pictures. A window with pink and green panes is in the background.

Why I Write

Because cultural differences are invitations, not barriers.
Because everyday magic deserves to be celebrated.
Because if I stayed silent, who would remind us we’re all neighbors?

Off the Page

When the North Pole goes quiet, I write under an alias in a genre that would surprise you, juggle a full-time job that peaks around the holidays, chase sunsets to new destinations, create magical memories with grandchildren, and attempt culinary experiments that range from triumph to... let’s call them learning experiences.

Illustration Partner

Every story I tell is brought to life through the extraordinary artwork of Christy Pliler, whose watercolor illustrations capture the warmth and whimsy of Santa’s world with heart and precision. Her art turns imagination into something you can almost touch, the sparkle of starlight in a reindeer’s eye, the glow of lamplight on fresh snow.
